Strategic Marketing International
I worked as the Graphic Design Intern for Strategic Marketing International in Charleston, SC from May through August 2019. I was tasked with all creative and visual work that our clients needed such as content creation, social media posts, videography, photography, and branding.
Google Remarketing Ads - I created Google remarketing ads for many of our clients. Each remarketing ad project consisted of approximately 13 ads using Google standard sizes with a photo, the company's logo, and a CTA button. I collaborated with the companies to get their specific message across to customers who have previously visited their site.
Product Catalog - I created the design for a product catalog for Green Roof Outfitters in InDesign which included the color scheme, typography, and page layouts. I worked with GRO's owner over multiple in-person and online meetings to convey the correct information, organization, and persona for their company. This catalog showcases the specifications for their products to be given to clients. An online version is now available and plans were being made for a hard copy version.
Company Video Shoot and Editing - I had the opportunity to fully plan, film, and edit a company video for Atlantic Tooling and Fabrication Company. I worked with the Director of Manufacturing to plan what shots they wanted along with the script. I filmed onsite at their manufacturing facility in Florence, SC. I edited the full video using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects and presented it to the company who now use it as their promotional video on their website and YouTube page. I was later informed that this video allowed ATFC to gain one of their biggest clients to date.
Miscellaneous Marketing Graphics - I created multiple graphics for many of our clients using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The final graphics included product flyers (The Greenhouse Company), promotional graphics (Half Moon Outfitters), sliders for a website (Scabbard), an email newsletter header design (StarChem), business cards (SMI), a logo redesign (Dock Blocks), a trifold panel board (Coastal Hydraulics), and multiple social media posts for the summer holidays.
Photography - I photographed the facilities of several of our clients to be used for their websites, press releases, and other visual promotions using a Nikon DSLR 3300.
